Hosting Hearts If you host a game of IPHearts, it is your task to seat all the players at your table. To do this, you will have to click on a player's nickname in the name box beside the text area. Then, you will want to move your mouse to seat, and click on were you would like to seat that particular player. You will have to repeat this until all the players have been seated. After all the players at the table have been seated, then you may start the game by pressing the "Start Game" button, and the game will begin. Playing Select 3 cards to pass from your hand (on pass hands only), and then click the Pass button. Once everyone has passed their cards, the 2 of clubs will automatically be played. Once all the point cards have been played, the hand will then end, and the deal will continue with the next player to the left. Options The host only has the option to "kick" players and other table occupants from the game table. To do this, click on the player's name you want to remove from the table, and then click on the Kick option. All players have the option to play a game sound, change card backings, and toggle confirmations on (confirmation is a way to verify that you do not accidentally throw the wrong card by mistake or to verify your bid). To turn confirmations on or off, go to the options pull-down menu at the top of the screen. Then, click on the confirmations that you would like to enable/disable. To play a sound, simply click on the "Play Sound" button at the bottom right-hand corner, and select a sound from the menu. To change the card backing of the cards, go to options at the top of the screen. Then, go to card backs and select the backing you like most.
