Hosting Cribbage

Before you start a game, you must first seat the players. Select the player you wish to seat from the list of players that have joined your game (lower right of game screen). Click the player's name and then click "Seat Red" or "Seat Blue". After all the players are seated, you may begin the game. To start the game, click the "Start Game" button above the list of players.

Host Options

The host of a game has the options to seat, mute or kick players at the table and lock the door.

Seat - To replace a player, there is no need to remove the player first -- just click the name of the player you wish to seat, click the word "Seat", and click the seating position of the player to be replaced.

Auto Mute - When you click the "Auto Mute" button, if a muted player disconnects from the table and comes back, they will still be muted.

Lock Door (default setting unlocked) - When this option is checked, no one can enter the table.

Nick Options

There are several options that you have as host that you can access by clicking on the Nick located in the Nick box located in the bottom right corner. They are as follows:

Seat Red - This allows you to seat the selected Player in the Red (dealers) seat.
Seat Green- This allows you to seat 2nd player listed for 2handed cribbage.
Seat Blue - This allows you to seat the 3rd player listed for 3 handed cribbage.
Seat Gray- This allows you to seat a 4th player listed for partner cribbage.

Mute - To mute someone at a table you are hosting, click their name in the list of players and then click "Mute". When someone is muted, he/she will not be able to chat or play sounds at that table. When you click the "Auto Mute" button, if a muted player disconnects from the table and comes back, that player will still be muted.

Kick - To kick someone from the table you are hosting, click on his/her name in the list of players and then click "Kick". Kicking removes a player from your table. He/she can rejoin unless you have the door locked.

Cancel - This allows you to close the Nick option menu without making a selection.

Selecting Crib Cards

To select the cards to send to the crib single click your two cards of choice then hit the "to Crib" Button located to the left of the cards.

Playing Your Cards

The player who was not indicated as the dealer will also play first. To play a card, double click on the card.

Scoring

Scoring is done by the computer, so sorry no chance to steal your opponents points. The pegs on the board will follow the scoring of points during play, each hand and the crib. The points will be broken down and listed in the brown box on the left of the screen under the peg board.

Sounds

You can play sounds during the game that the other players will hear. Click the "Sounds" button, then choose a sound from the sounds in your list. To not hear the sounds being played during the game, click the "Sounds" button and click the "Sound is On" button. You will still be able to hear the beep for your turn if the "Beep on My Turn" option is checked in the "Options" menu. If you have sound on but are not hearing all the sounds being played, it is because these are user sounds which have to be installed on your computer to play.
