Welcome to iPlay!
Welcome to a virtual tour of the iPlayNET Online
Games system. Here you'll find helpful information for
first-time visitors to iPlay. We know you're ready to play, but first make sure you have
downloaded the iPlay game client software and installed it. You can get the download file
here.
Once you have installed the software you then
need to reboot.
To signup for your username or to log into the game lobbies
click on the world icon on your desktop called iPlayNet. This will run an updater
to insure that you have the latest files.
Next, a login box will come up with a
username and password box. To sign up with a username click the Add Account
button and enter the username and password you wish to use. If this account name
is already taken you will get a screen that says error processing request which
means you need to pick out another name. (Note: Usernames may not start
with a number or include symbols such as @ & % $ or *).Once you have your username added,
click on the Sign On button and this will take you to the game lobbies. If its your
first time to iPlay, you will be taken to our New Users lobby where a staff member
will assist you in the operation of the iPlay Game Software.
An IPlay Lobby:

#1) The Symbol: These
people (SysOps) are there to help show you around
and help you become more familiar with IPlay and answer any questions you may have.

#2) The
nicknames in yellow are hosting a
table, and to the right of their nickname it states what game they are hosting as well as how many people are at
their table. To join a table you click on their
nickname and then you
will see a gray listing on right side with a "hosting IP" tab on the bottom of listing.
Click on the hosting IP tab and you will join the table.

#3) The
nicknames in
blue
are playing a game. To right of
their nickname you can see at which table they are playing.

#4) The nicknames in white are not currently playing a game. The nicknames that
appear in red type indicate a player who not spoken in over 10 minutes.

#5) HOST: Click on host and you will get a list of all
the games IPlay has
available for you to play online.

#6) LOBBIES: Click on lobbies, then click on change lobbies.
You will see a
listing of all the different lobbies in IPlay. Main lobby is a great place
to start.
An IPlay Game Table:

#1) NICKNAME: The
nicknames of all players at your table are listed in the gray
box on the bottom right of the game table. Click on your name
and you will see a pop-up option menu.

#2) SEATING: Click on one of the seating options in the
pop-up options menu and you will seat
yourself at table. Seat all others playing at your table the same way.

#3) PLAY SOUND: Here you'll find preloaded sounds to
try. You can add your own sound files (in .wav format) by adding them to your
IPlay folder, usually c:\program files\iplaynet\.

#4) TEXT ENTRY LINE: With your mouse, click in this area and
you'll see a flashing cursor. You can then type in this
area and hit 'enter' on your keyboard to 'talk' in a game.
