A Heart of a Clown
by Robin Rogers
Rosy cheeks, big wide smile
A heart that's breaking
thought to have no chance
turns on the computer, and begins her dance.
She's witty, She's bright,
in her they delight
not knowing she wears
the coldness
of night.
She charms and she touches
for that's her style.
How is it they can't see through her smile?
No one sees her face
No one knows her name,
Yet they are intrigued
all the same.
The heart of a clown
as big as the sea
when the computer goes off
ceases to be...
